"Flora from Spectra CA23" by Adrian Dvir

Just as the New Spirituality is non-preachy, non-religious, inclusive, free-flowing, free-thinking, playful, erotic, exploratory, experience-based and transdimensionally strange, so is the art which articulates its main themes.

I provide, below, exemplar links to fifty-five different New Age artists and illustrators whose work I have noticed while surfing the web or browsing book covers, CD sleeves or magazines. For each of these artists, I include links to three representative pieces of their work.

The portals of intuition and realisation which art opens to the open-minded can be radical. The Scottish poet and novelist, John Burnside, comments: "We all know that other worlds besides the real world exist, but nothing is gained by relegating them indiscriminately to a dream world, where the word 'dream' expresses at once the vagaries of sleep and the satisfaction of desire."

"The world of art is fantastical in the sense that its elements are not those of reality; but its fantasy is intrinsic and fundamental, quite other than the wayward imaginings of the daydream. I think that fantasy of this intrinsic and fundamental kind - the imagination - is an essential counterbalance to societally imposed notions of order (what I choose to call 'The Authorised Version') and an understanding of altered states."

"Artistic fantasies scrub clean the doors of perception. This might well be the first step towards a fuller, wilder and more honourable life for us all."

I get Regan's newsletter. I like her art a lot.

There is an artist you might also like. I saw his magic performed on the streets of New Orleans. With cans of spray paint he'd quickly produce these breath-taking images that his website cannot do justice. You should take a look if you get a chance -

I'm glad you also found the art pleasing. "Goldenroad" is gorgeous. The rainbow, the colors.

(Note, his paintings are a LOT cheaper if you buy them as he makes them on the street.)

With this post, you got me thinking that I really enjoy Roger Dean's art on the YES album covers. In fact, I just set my desktop background to this -

Speaking of YES, I love Jon Anderson (his solo work is great). And he's a pretty spiritual person, too. :)

Thank you very much, for posting the links to all these gorgeous images.

I'm sure these entities look like this on the higher 4th & lower 5th dimensions.

On the 3rd dimension, I've heard that the nature spirits emulate the humans on the 3d. Have so for eons.

Yet, "when some humans have taken truth for lies, & lies for truth, some nature spirits follow same".

And as a result, end up with similar auras. When a lie is taken for truth, it registers on the mental body, & manifests as dark matter in the aura.

And thereby dis-allowing the spirit entity, from ascension up & into the higher realms. As with a lead balloon, they can't rise any higher. And are stuck here, via frequency.

Nice paintings though. May every one be free, from that which binds us here. E-v-e-r-y-o-n-e, every thing, every where.....
