Out beyond the Gas Giants

A pub is a place of safety;
A place where hobbits
And men
Can exchange news;
A place where a ranger
Can sit quietly in the corner
And observe, but not speak.

If you wish,
You can play patience in a pub.

Tonight,
In the saloon bar
Of The Whore and Condom
In Church Street, Ventnor,
The conversation
Is about
Pluto, Yoda and love.

Pluto will survive.
It has plenty of friends
Out there in the Kuiper Belt
And the Oort Cloud.
They talk.
They party.
They exchange energy.
Everything is intelligent.

What Earthling astronomers think
Doesn't matter
Out beyond the Gas Giants.

And Yoda?
The thing about Yoda
Is that Yoda doesn't blog.

Yoda is everywhere all at once,
Except you don't notice.
Think quantum transdimensionality
And you think Yoda.
But you don't touch Yoda
With your thought;
Yoda touches you with his.

Love is more tricky.
But after a second glass
Of Benedictine liqueur,
Even the concept of love
Becomes accessible
In the saloon bar
Of The Whore and Condom.

Love is a dance;
A dance of colour;
A dance of energy;
A dance of inclusiveness
Shared with the universe.

Out beyond the Gas Giants,
They understand that love
Is all there is,
And that love includes Pluto
And energises Yoda
And surrounds the saloon bar
Of The Whore and Condom
With a felt sense
Of metaphysical safety.

Jesus recounts a dream he had about George Bush

Page update: 18.08.08

One of the energising claims of the New Spirituality is that for the first time in 98,000 years here on Earth, the spiritual leaders of the planet are returning back into everyday physical life and are making themselves known to ordinary people again. One of those spiritual leaders is the individual known to Western history as Jesus of Nazareth.

In his Palestinian incarnation (24BC – 9AD), Jesus was known locally as Joshua Ben Pandira. He was an active Essene mystic in a progressive Jewish tradition of the time. In 16AD he took another physical incarnation known to history as Apollonius of Tyana. A few centuries later, working from the spiritual planes, he gave the Prophet Muhammad the original text of The Holy Qur'an and taught the Prophet during his night journeys to the Holy Land.

On the 13th April 1952, speaking to a meditation group in Santa Fe, New Mexico (USA), Jesus said: "And soon will come the time when the light which I pour forth to individuals in response to their calls to me can be easily photographed, even by that mechanical perfection to which you have attained thus far." On another page of this weblog
we have assembled links to some of these photographs, which were originally published and authenticated by Share International Magazine.

In 1975, "A Course in Miracles"
was published by Helen Schucman and William Thetford. Jesus headed a team of writers on the spiritual planes who are said to have compiled this. The text was transmitted to Schucman and Thetford by a process of mental impression, inner dictation and inspiration. The text is written as though Jesus is the author speaking in the first person.

In recent years, according to Share International, Jesus has been appearing in physical form all over the world to ordinary individuals. Often this happens in the wake of disasters, at peace demonstrations, or at Mind, Body and Spirit festivals. The physical appearance he adopts for these appearances varies.

On the morning of Sunday 12th February 2006, Dick Larson and Jackie Cochrane were running a booth at the Whole Life Expo in Los Angeles (USA). Jesus turned up in the form of an African American man of average height and slim build. He appeared to be in his early 30s. He was dressed casually, wearing a turquoise and white vertical striped shirt, and beige trousers. He was not immediately recognised.

After some general conversation with Larson and Cochrane about the exhibits being displayed, Jesus said: "You know, I had a dream. In the dream I had the plans for the solutions to all the world’s problems in my hands. I entered a room that was filled with corporate executives. I gave a copy of the plans that I had to each person in the room. Then you know who walked into the room? George Bush. I also handed him a copy of the plans, but he tore it up and threw it away. So then I washed my hands.”

Jesus then shook Larson and Cochrane's hands, and walked away. This account of events appeared in the Letters to the Editor section of the September 2006 edition of Share International Magazine and can be found here.

Elsewhere, in the same edition of Share International magazine, in the Questions and Answers section, two related pieces of information about American politics and policy are offered. First, Benjamin Creme, the editor, describes the last presidential election in the USA as being "the most corrupt, I think, that has ever taken place in a modern state. You must make sure that you do not have another election like that. Do not stand for it. The voting machines were pre-programmed to change every fifth vote for Kerry into one for Bush. Those elections were completely false. Ohio was won by Kerry, although he lost it. Florida was won by Kerry, so was New Mexico. The result would have been completely different but for the corruption. There was a massive vote against Bush but also a strong vote for him. But Kerry won the election and was denied it, just as in the previous election Al Gore won the election and was denied it. The world would be a completely different place had either Gore or Kerry become President."

Second, Benjamin Creme was asked the following question: "In July 2006 torrential storms affected much of the East coast of the USA. In Washington DC, the storm caused the US Department of Justice and other major federal buildings to be closed and a 100-year-old elm tree on the White House lawn to fall. The tree is featured prominently on the back of the $20 bill. Were the storms due to karma?" Creme's answer was yes. He was then asked: "Was this a karmic reaction for America’s actions in Iraq, or for something else?" Creme replied: "America’s actions in Iraq."

An abridged version of the September 2006 edition of Share International Magazine can be read online here.

Antidote to terror

Leave the burning machine
In the garage,
Put the television set
In the garbage,
Switch off the electricity,
Walk out of the house,
Walk out of the city,
Walk into the country.

Touch the Sun
In the golden air;
Touch the Moon
In the silver air.

Paddle barefoot
In the mountain streams.

Dance with the clouds.

Caress the feathers
Of the winds
With your face,
Feel the scud
Of the rain
With your skin,
Hear the song
Of the birds
In your breath.

Stay outdoors.

Be a harvest mouse
In the hedgerows.
Be a faun
In the forests.

Connect with your planet
And become friends.

Cast care aside,
Flow freely,
Forgive freely,
Love freely.

Leave the future behind;
Inhabit the present;
Breathe the abundance
Of all that is.

Know now
That there is nothing
To fear.

Estuary Hermeneutics

The Holy Qur'an
And The Holy Bible
Are splendid resources
For the black magicians
Of Estuary Hermeneutics,
Peace be upon them.

Both books are packed full
With absolutely wonderful
Inerrant truth-claims
About The Meaning Of Life.

And there is absolute agreement
Between the two faith communities
On one point:
The Meaning Of Life
Is conflict.

Introducing an angel based in Europe

Page update: 06.07.07

Channie Centara is an angel, a physical human being living in Sweden, an advanced extraterrestrial and a Universal White Time Healer.

She has been working actively with benign extraterrestrials since the age of five. She now speaks over 36 different languages from various planets and star systems, and has privileged executive use of several spacecraft.

Channie has a physical human body here on Earth, but her main body is an extraterrestrial one in which she lives and in which she is active on another planet. Channie also has an angel body with wings.

Channie Centara is a Universal White Time Healer. Using Universal White Time, the healer can go back in time and give healing a few seconds before the sickness or problem occurred. The healer can also heal in present time, taking away pain and discomfort. And the healer can send the healing force into the future to prevent the illness or problem from occurring again. You don't have to be an angel to do this. Any human being can become a Universal White Time Healer.

Universal White Time can also be used in interplanetary travel. Advanced extraterrestrial starships, such as those used by the Arcturians and other ETs associated with the Order of Melchizedek, use White Time Tunnels which have been specially constructed between planets, star systems and galaxies. These White Time Tunnels can be thought of as portals.

These portals can also be used by individuals for soul travelling over vast distances and times. Some human beings, including many of our New Age children,
can recall dreams in which they were doing exactly this. There are components within dreams which are more veridical and more real than anything we experience in normal waking consciousness down here on the physical plane. Exploring these realities is a core task of the New Spirituality.

The mean streets

http://alcuinbramerton.blogspot.com/2006/08/mean-streets.html
Alcuin Bramerton profile ..... Index of blog contents ..... Home

It is night.
Moth wings flutter.
A bat swoops.
Owls prowl.

In the mean streets
Of Godalming, Surrey,
A single British Bobby
In full body armour,
Riot gear
And gas mask,
Is searching
Among the Magnolia trees
For Muslim sympathisers.

Inside Number 14,
Honeysuckle Close,
Rosemary Hambledon
Notes the movement outside
And draws her curtains
Against the encroaching dark.

She has survived
One more day;
One more day
Without the horror
Of having a large,
Flaming,
Iron-bound
Copy of the
Holy Qur'an
Thrown through
Her parlour window.

She picks up
Her National Trust mug
Of Horlicks,
Sips down
Three tranquillisers,
And for what may be
The very last time,
Reaches for the wireless
And turns on
The BBC shipping forecast.

Fundamentalists' Bring-and-Buy

Mrs Irene Scott of Guernsey was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer in 2003 but went on to recover. She had cancer of the hip, spine, blood, lymph and marrow, and believes that a combination of conventional, holistic and alternative medicine helped her combat the symptoms and side effects of the condition.

A local medic, Dr Paul Williams, while delivering a talk on "The Myth of Homeopathy" at La Villiaze Evangelical Church on the island, was challenged by Mrs Scott. In his reply, Dr Williams told her: "…. you have been cured by the devil”.

Phil Henderson's report in The Guernsey Press & Star is dated 14.08.06 and can be seen here.

Jolly frightening, this terror business

Page update: 17.09.06

Is terror good? Or is terror evil?

Do those activities which we associate with terror, terrorism and the war against terror, attract positivity or do they attract negativity?

Do terror and anti-terror psychologies channel positive energy and positive entities, or do they channel negative energy and negative entities?

Are terror and anti-terror psychologies manifestations of a right-hand path spirituality? Or are they manifestations of a left-hand path spirituality?

Perhaps the characterising signature of left-hand path spiritualities is their attempt to manipulate human perceptions to maximise fear.

What is the opposite of fear? The spiritual obverse of fear is love. On this view, the characterising signature of right-hand path spiritualities is their attempt to encourage human perceptions to maximise love, love being the cohering, inclusive energy of the universe.

Terrorism is designed to keep people in fear, and so is the current Western political response to terrorism.

Western polity - a manifestation of left-hand path political materialism - needs to keep the fear ratcheted up in order to erode private freedoms and to secure public funding for the military-industrial complex and its covert business controllers.

Private freedoms need to be eroded so that the reach, influence and power of the business controllers of the political class can be subliminally extended.

Religion is a form of terrorism, a left-hand path spirituality, when it affirms dogmas which engender fear, create putative spiritual enemies, generate conflict, exclude faith communities from access to salvation, make exclusive truth-claims about human textual artefacts, and which seek to restrict personal freedom or to limit private judgement in matters of faith or conduct. Religion of this kind is spiritual fascism; terrorism on stilts.

If terrorism, and its establishment response, are successful in exaggerating and sustaining a sense of danger and fear in the population at large, new spiritual, mental and physical diseases are likely to manifest.

We have already begun to see AIDS, Ebola and obesity. Now Morgellons disease is coming to notice.
This is a very strange disorder. It is not evenly distributed across the planet. At present, most reported cases appear to be clustered in the USA.

But in simple, practical terms, what can be done about terrorism and its identical twin, anti-terrorism?

Perhaps one of the best ways to negate the fear-promoting policies of the terrorists and their Western political allies is very simple: throw out the television.

The obsessive rehearsal of the images of manufactured bad news must be resisted. The creative dissemination of the idea of genuine good news must be energised.

Harriet feels a burning sensation

It is late on
At Toby's beach barbecue
When Harriet's pretty
Summer dress
Catches fire.

Harriet reflects
That fire is not just molecules
Changing address;
Fire is molecules downsizing
In order to become
Upwardly mobile.

Fire is cool like that.

Even cooler
Is the adjacent ocean.

Harriet throws herself
Into the dark, raging surf.

Not unexpectedly,
She finds the fire
In her dress
Quenched.

This is good.
The fire might have become
Tiresome
If it had been allowed
To spread
To adjacent regions.

And often
The elemental energy
Of the ocean

Is best appreciated
In the absence of clothes.

Controlled anal voicing

On a recommendation
From an ex-member's husband,
The Blythburgh branch
Of The Women's Institute
Invited Mr Cyril Middleton
Of Dunwich, Suffolk,
To address them
At their Ash Wednesday lunch.

The ladies had checked
Mr Middleton's
Bona fides
Carefully
Before he was invited.

According to the internet,
He had a good address
In the old medieval part
Of Dunwich,
And his hobbies were
Story-telling
And scuba diving.

His speciality,
According to those who
Had had
The good fortune
Of attending his celebrated
Lectures before,
Was to make funny noises
For the amusement
Of the underclass.

The ladies first noticed
That things
Were going to be a little different
At this particular lunch,
When Mr Middleton
Set up his
Amplification system.

He carefully positioned
On the stage,
Not one, but two
Microphones;
One in front of him
At mouth height,
And one behind him
At buttock height.

He then clapped his hands loudly,
Asked for silence,
And said that the ladies
Should not be alarmed
But he was going to do a quick
Sound test.

Everyone stopped talking
And listened intently.

There was a pause
And then a long,
Rasping
High-decibel fart
Echoed around the room.

An agonising split second
Of communal
Prophylactic shock
Was followed by
A wanton explosion
Of some of the most
Indelicate
Rabelaisian
Belly-laughter
Ever to have permeated
A Women's Institute
Ash Wednesday lunch.

Several members,
Indeed,
Were seen to be
Writhing on the floor,
Seriously
Injuring themselves
Laughing.

It was quite a few minutes
Before good order
Was re-established.

Mr Middleton
Urged the ladies
To control themselves
And asked that the windows
Be opened
Because the room was becoming
Rather stuffy.

He then let rip
With a second
Stentorian
Anal raspberry,
Twice as loud
And twice as long
And twice as bubbly
As the first.

The meeting once more
Degraded into
Screams and howls
Of unrestrained laughter.

Gertrude Cookley,
A new member from
Chediston Green,
Swore blind
That during this second
Mighty clarion call
She had seen a vision
Of the Archangel Gabriel
Presenting the Prophet Muhammad
With the original text
Of The Life of Brian.

Once the laughter
Had died down,
And the ladies
Had regained the power
Of coherent speech,
They began
Chatting animatedly,
With one another
Saying things like:
"Better out than in,"
And, "No need of nuclear power
With that volume
Of methane available,"
And, "That was worse than
Exchanging a sign
Of the peace."

Later in the day,
The Vicar's wife commented
To her husband
That, all in all,
It was not a good start

To Lent.

A mystery deeper than tears

Crying is the therapy
Of release.

We need to cry more.
We need to cry better.
Tears lubricate a bad day.

But the positive energy
Of lachrymation
Is a mystery deeper than tears.

Why do people cry
When they are happy?
Why do people cry
When they laugh?

We give ourselves when we cry.
But who
Or what
Is the beneficiary
Of our giving?

We abandon ourselves when we cry.
But who
Or what
Then occupies
The vacated inner space
We leave?

And when we cry
Why is the person next to us
Suddenly so understanding?
Suddenly so concerned?
Suddenly so sensitised?

Crying is old magic
Deployed by ancient people
Ever young.

It is a behaviour of childhood
Which expresses the desire
To stay childlike
Without qualification.

And when the time comes,
It would be nice to
Cry oneself
To death,
Rather as one
Cries oneself
To sleep.

Going to sleep
Is practice for
Going to death.

Sleeping is dying,

And tears do help.

Marriage night

http://alcuinbramerton.blogspot.com/2006/06/marriage-night.html
Alcuin Bramerton profile ..... Index of blog contents ..... Home

It will be
The perfect
English wedding.

Gorgeous spring weather,
Large cathedral,
Twelve bridesmaids,
Twelve pages,
Two bishops,
Flowers on every gargoyle,
Orchestra
And full choir.

Elegant reception
In a pink
And green
Marquee
In the cloister garden.

You will take care
Not to drink too much.

At last,
At the end of the day,
And feeling like
The Leaning Tower
Of Pisa,
You reach
The honeymoon hotel
Bedroom.

And then the glorious
Consummation.

Your young wife
Tells you
That she
Has a headache.

It is important
To be positive
And understanding
At this point.

Give her the benefit
Of the doubt,
And acknowledge
That there is at least
A twenty per cent
Chance,
That she is telling

The truth.

Stream of consciousness

This is a stream
Of consciousness.

Politics is an elaborate
Metaphor
For croquet:
Painted balls.

I've forgotten to see
Those movies.

I forget everything
These days.

I forgot to get up
Yesterday.
And now it's today.

I adopt the lexical orthodoxy
Of Western linear time concepts here.
Excuse me.

I need chocolate.
I need chocolate fast.

Whose consciousness
Is this a stream of?
And how can I be sure?

Oh, look!
There's a squirrel.
That's nice.

What's a squirrel doing
In the deep-freeze?

The kettle's boiling.
I can see it boiling over there.
It's a steam of consciousness.

Water vapour is a more important
Greenhouse gas
Than either carbon dioxide
Or methane.

There are geeks
Who don't know that.
There are geeks
Who have no consciousness
At all.
Some geeks
Are just aural in-your-face
Non-sentient data complexes.

I like geeks.
The richest man in the world
Was a geek once;
A computer-geek
Who wrote source code.
Now he's the biggest do-gooder
Who has ever done gooding
On the planet,
Except for Mother Teresa.

Ah, good. Yes.
There's the chocolate.
I need
chocolate to power up
My stream of consciousness.

I'm glad I saw those movies.
This is

Never settle down

Not ready
To settle down?

No, not ready
To settle down.

Life never settles down.

Life is a continual process
Of becoming more;
Stasis is not even
Theoretically possible.

Never settle down.

Keep moving;
Keep moving forwards.
Keep growing;
Keep growing bigger.

Never settle down.

Only in the matrix
Do people settle down.
They settle down to stay small;
They settle down to die.

But there is
No such thing
As death.

Therein lies
The intrinsic lie
Peddled by
The insistent
Death-mongers
Of material illusion.

It is dangerous
To get comfy
Down here
In the matrix.

There is more
To life
Than a three-dimensional
Hologram
Of half-experienced being.

Never settle down.

Magnanimous gesture

http://alcuinbramerton.blogspot.com/2006/05/magnanimous-gesture.html
Alcuin Bramerton profile ..... Index of blog contents ..... Home

Very kindly,
Mr Tissington,
Of Ashbourne,
Derbyshire,
Signed papers
At his local hospital,
And officially
Committed himself
To an organ donor programme.

In the rubric
Of the document,
Deep down
In the small print,
He donated his head
To science.

It was a magnanimous gesture,
But a stupid head.

Stupid heads
Cannot easily be
Relocated.

But eventually
They found a stupid body
And attached Mr Tissington's
Stupid head to it.

There was genuine hope,
Among the medical team,
That once the transplanted organ
And its recipient body
Had acclimatised,
And come out of life support
And counselling,
They might have a useful role
To play
In the war

Against terror.

The angel paths are open

Perhaps what we call death
Is not that at all.

Perhaps what we call death
Is just a change
Of address.

We slip through
An interdimensional portal

Back into our real home.

Perhaps death was where we were,
Down here in the matrix,
Not where we go
Up there
When we leave.

Deep down we know that
The angel paths are open;
The angel paths are beckoning;
The angel paths remember
The fluttering feel

Of our feet.

The good modern husband

Quite properly, a legally constituted pair-bond between husband and wife allows for give and take on both sides. But in these changing times, people can become confused about their role within the family. In response to numerous requests, we offer the following advice to men of advanced character.

Have dinner ready. The good modern husband always has dinner ready. He plans ahead, the night before, to have a delicious meal ready on time for his wife's return. This is a way of letting her know that you are thinking about her and are concerned about her needs. Most women are hungry when they come home from work and the prospect of a good meal, especially her favourite dish, is part of the warm welcome needed.

Prepare yourself. Take fifteen minutes to rest so that you will be refreshed when she arrives. Touch up your aftershave, put on a new tie and be fresh-looking. She has just spent the day with a lot of demanding, work-weary people. Be a little gay and a little more interesting for her. Her tedious day may need a lift and one of your duties is to provide it.

Clear away the clutter. Make one last trip through the main part of the house just before your wife arrives home, gather up school books, toys, paper etc. Then run a duster over the tables. In the cooler months of the year you should prepare and light a fire for her to unwind by. Your wife will feel that she has reached a haven of rest and order, and it will give you a lift too. After all, catering for her comfort will provide you with immense personal satisfaction.

Prepare the children. Take a few minutes to wash the children's hands and faces, comb their hair and change their clothes. They are little treasures and she will like to see them playing their part.

Minimise all noise. At the time of her arrival, eliminate all noise from the dishwasher, the washing machine and the vacuum cleaner. Encourage the children to be quiet. Be happy to see her when she arrives home. Greet her with a warm smile and show sincerity in your desire to please her.

Listen to her closely. You may have a dozen important things to tell her, but the moment of her arrival home is not the time. Let her talk first - remember that her topics of conversation are far more important than yours.

Make the evening hers. Never complain if she comes home late, or goes out to dinner with others, or to places of entertainment without you. Instead, just try to understand her female world of strain and pressure and her very real need to be home and to relax without judgement.

Your goal is to make your home a place of peace, order and tranquillity where your wife can renew herself in body and in spirit.

Some obvious don'ts. Don't greet her with problems and complaints when she comes home. Don't complain if she's late for dinner. Don't complain if she stays out all night. Count such things as minor compared with what she must have gone through during her busy, difficult day. Don't interrogate her about her actions or question her integrity. Remember, she is the master of the house and as such she will always exercise her will with fairness and truthfulness. You have no need to question her.

A good modern husband always knows his place.
